Mounting systems maker Schletter completes 48 MWp of solar in Italy

Schletter Group, a German manufacturer of solar mounting systems, said Monday it is expanding its presence in Italy with the installation of two ground-mounted systems totalling 48 MWp in partnership with German general contractor EnValue.

The two solar farms are located in the municipalities of Remanzacco and Manzano, near Udine in northeastern Italy. The Manzano site has a capacity of 17 MWp and the Remanzacco array of 31 MWp. Together they feature about 87,000 photovoltaic (PV) modules, mounted on Schletter Group’s FS Duo dual-support systems.

Schletter Group said it has been partnering with EnValue for several years. In 2023, the companies delivered 13 projects with a combined capacity of around 100 MWp. EnValue has already commissioned an additional 14.5-MWp project from Schletter in Italy, with two more projects exceeding 200 MWp in the pipeline.
